At the entry-level (Junior Time Scale), an IAS officer starts at Pay Level 10 of the 7th Pay Commission matrix.

  • Dearness Allowance (DA): ~50% of basic pay (revised semi-annually)
  • Gross Monthly Salary: Rs. 90,000 - 95,000 (Approx.)
